Insight: When overwhelmed with emotions in public places such as school or college, young people escape to the bathrooms to regather themselves in private.

51% of young people believe that people their age would be embarrassed to be diagnosed with a mental illness- this campaign aims to destroy the stigma against mental health early on in people’s lives so they grow up feeling confident discussing their mental wellbeing.

I chose to support this by designing robot heads encouraging young people to be in touch with their emotions and positioning them over their reflection’s head in public bathroom mirrors in educational settings. The print poster would be stuck throughout schools and on the back of toilet doors.
